Acceptable use policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
These rules keep buyers safe and Minnya trustworthy. They apply to every page, product, message and review. Breaking them can lead to content being removed, a page being hidden or an account being closed — see section 9 of our terms.
You may not sell or promote
- Anything illegal where you or your buyers are, or anything that needs a licence you don’t hold.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or parts and instructions to make them.
- Drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription medicines, or supplements with unproven health claims.
- Tobacco, vapes, nicotine or alcohol, unless you hold the licences required and check buyers’ age.
- Counterfeit or replica goods, or anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark or design.
- Stolen goods, or personal data, accounts or credentials.
- Adult sexual content or services.
- Gambling, lotteries or raffles without the licences required.
- Financial products, investment schemes, crypto-asset promotions, loans or debt services.
- Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid or multi-level marketing recruitment.
- Live animals.
- Anything else our payment providers prohibit, including Stripe’s restricted businesses.
You may not
- Mislead buyers about what they’re buying, its condition, price, delivery or who you are.
- Post fake reviews, or pressure or pay buyers for reviews.
- Impersonate another person, brand or organisation, or use their name or logo without permission.
- Collect passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details through forms, or take payment outside a checkout for orders started on Minnya to avoid buyer protection.
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or publish hate speech or violent extremist content.
- Publish anything that sexualises or endangers children.
- Share other people’s private information without their consent.
- Send spam, or add people to mailing lists without their consent.
- Upload malware, try to break into Minnya or other accounts, or overload our systems.
- Use custom code or embeds to track visitors covertly, mine cryptocurrency or redirect people deceptively.
Food, cosmetics and other regulated goods
If you sell food, cosmetics, toys, electrical items or other regulated goods, you must follow the rules that apply to them — for example registering a food business with your local council and listing allergens.
Reporting
Anyone can report a page from the “Report this page” link at the bottom of every Minnya page or at app.minnya.com/report. Rights holders can send copyright or trade mark notices to legal@minnya.com with the work concerned, where it appears and their contact details. We review reports and act on them as quickly as we can.
